If you were wondering where to honeymoon in March and were thinking of the South Pacific, unfortunately it is still the rainy season in paradise islands like Fiji and the beautiful archipelago, French Polynesia and it’s stunning islands like Tahiti, Moore and the famed Pearl of the Pacific, Bora Bora.

You could be lucky and just get some showers, but there could be cyclones too.

If an overwater bungalow is on your list, it might be worth comparing with the Maldives, as it’s dry season there.

Start your South Africa honeymoon itinerary in Cape Town and relax in Camps Bay, hike Table Mountain and visit Boulders Beach for the cute penguins.

You should still expect some rain, but it can be a lovely time for exploring European cities. Eat tapas in Madrid, pasta in Rome and visit a boulangerie Paris without the heavy crowds and hot temperatures.

For beaches, the safest bet would be destinations like Spain’s Canary Islands. Tenerife is ideal for stargazing and has Michelin Star restaurants for foodies.

Later in the month, destinations like Cyprus and Portugal’s Madeira and Greece’s Crete will start to warm up but the temperature gauge usually won’t hit 20 °C / 70 °F until at least April.
