Explore the ancient sites of Rome, and historic Athens. Or the stunning cities of Spain like Madrid, Barcelona and Seville.
You might still get rain showers though so be prepared.
More northerly cities like Paris, Copenhagen, London, Dublin and Amsterdam, can be still a little cooler but we wouldn’t let that put you off a delightful minimoon or April honeymoon in Europe.
Spring is a beautiful time to visit the continent. The city’s flowers bloom and the sun shines brighter and the crowds are fewer than in high summer, a huge positive.
April can be a little colder for beach weather, particularly earlier in the month, but if you don’t need it to be too hot, hotels and restaurants will begin to open throughout the month of April and May around the Mediterranean, Aegean and Adriatic Sea tourist towns.
By the end of the month, airlines have started their summer schedules as Europeans head for the coastlines.
Whether it’s island hopping in Greece, zig zagging across Italy or exploring Turkey, Cyprus, Croatia, Portugal, Spain – you’re in for a treat.

Explore the craziness of Bangkok, the culture of Chiang Mai and go on a heavenly island hopping adventure.
We adore Vietnam. It’s one of the best destinations for an April honeymoon.
Start in Hanoi, visit Halong Bay, take a flight or overnight train winding your way down through the country, stopping at highlights like Hue, Hoi An and Mui Ne.
Explore the Cu Chi Tunnels and take a foodie vespa tour in Ho Chi Minh City. Take a trip to the Mekong Delta and hop on a flight to one of Vietnam’s islands, like Phu Quoc or Can Dao.
