Good to know about honeymoon hotels in Las Vegas
- Getting there: Honeymoon hotels in Las Vegas are just a stone’s throw away from the airport, Harry Reid International Airport (airport code: LAS)
It’s usually a 10 to 20-minute cab ride (traffic permitting). You can queue for a taxi but you can also pre-book a meet and greet private transfer so you’re not waiting around.
- Resort fees: Hopefully, you’ve heard about resort fees. These sneaky add-ons are the reality of Vegas stays. They’re mandatory, so we’re letting you know so you can budget accordingly. Expect an extra $50-ish per room per night to be paid at check-in on top of your room rate.
- A small warning: In some honeymoon hotels in Las Vegas, the rooms can be a little dated, even in some of the 5-star hotels. Personal service can sometimes be lacking because of the size of the hotels. Therefore, mixed reviews are common in many Las Vegas hotels.
- Casinos. The casino culture is quintessential Vegas, and you can play your cards right at any hotel you fancy. You don’t have to stay in a hotel to gamble.
Complimentary drinks flow for gamblers and tipping your server a couple of dollars each time will ensure the libations flow freely! For us, Cosmopolitan and Aria steal the spotlight for top-notch drinks.
- Walking: Las Vegas can be very busy and as we mentioned, you can eat and drink in any hotel of your choosing. This means a whirlwind of foot traffic as revellers weave through the hotel lobbies and casinos.
Pack some walking shoes but also take the trams and cabs/Ubers. If you were to walk from the Four Seasons Hotel at Mandalay Bay at the south end to the Wynn Hotel at the north end, it would take you around 90 minutes.
- Pool notes: Lounging poolside, soaking in the sun, and sipping on cocktails might be part of the Las Vegas honeymoon dream, but not all pools open year-round as Las Vegas gets decidedly chilly in the winter.
It’s also worth noting that pools are often reserved exclusively for guests although might allow you access if you splurge on a cabana, depending on hotel occupancy.
- Prices: While we’d like to include guide pricing in our hotel articles, prices in Las Vegas are as unpredictable as a roulette wheel. They fluctuate depending on whatever might be happening in the city, from conferences to concerts.
Like flights, prices are dynamic and can vary from day to day. We’ve included links so you can check the prices for your dates. If you see a good deal for a Las Vegas honeymoon hotel, don’t sleep on it!

The Palazzo is the sister hotel to the Venetian and part of the same sprawling complex, but in a different tower.
There are seven thousand plus rooms between them, and together they make up the second biggest hotel on the planet (the biggest is in Malaysia, incidentally).
The Palazzo is taller; in fact, it’s one of the tallest honeymoon hotels in Las Vegas. So, for a high-floor room, the views are pretty great.
It’s also much less busy than the Venetian and has less footfall, making the ambiance a bit more relaxed and luxurious.
You’ll find some of the biggest honeymoon suites in Las Vegas, almost twice the size of your average hotel room. The Luxury King Suite is the standard, with multi-level living space and bedroom space.

16. The Cromwell Las Vegas Hotel & Casino
With just 188 rooms, the Cromwell is one of the smaller honeymoon hotels in Las Vegas. If you can call any Las Vegas honeymoon hotel small, that is!
For a while, it was the only adults-only hotel on the Strip; however, this is no longer the case.
The Cromwell is extremely well-located, a standalone hotel just across from Caesars Palace (who owns the property), the Bellagio, and just a few minutes’ walk from Aria, The Cosmopolitan in one direction, and the Venetian in the other.
The pink velvet interiors are reminiscent of a Parisian boudoir but Vegas-style. Treat yourselves to a Luxury Room with Strip View.
The casino is classy, with a more intimate atmosphere than some of the bigger hotels.
One of the showstoppers is the colourful adults-only Drai’s Beachclub on a rooftop deck, 11 stories above the Strip. Take in the spectacular Las Vegas views and enjoy drink service while lounging around the palm tree-lined pool.
