Generally the Seychelles rainy season is from November to March and the Seychelles dry season is April to October.

Seychelles is rarely affected by the cyclones or hurricanes that hit other parts of the Indian Ocean and extreme weather is rare.
You could be lucky and get some consecutive days of sunshine, but rain showers are the norm in January.
Many couples, particularly those trying to escape the European winter, still visit Seychelles over the Christmas / New Year holiday period, despite the rainy conditions at this time.
So, although January is not considered the best time to visit Seychelles for honeymoon, prices are at a peak in early January, but from the second week of the month they can drop by up to two-thirds!

While February sees a little less rainfall than the wettest months, December and January it’s not considered the best time to visit Seychelles for honeymoon.

You will still get the odd rain shower and maybe the odd thunderstorm, but that shouldn’t stop you from choosing Seychelles for a honeymoon

May is the best time to visit Seychelles for honeymoon as it’s one of the sunniest of the year with just a gentle breeze from the southeast trade winds.
Temperatures average 27.9°C / 82.2°F and you can expect the sun to be shining for around 8 hours a day on average, perfect Seychelles honeymoon weather!
You still may get some showers as it’s the tropics. It’s also one of the best months for snorkelling and diving.
Although it is the start of the dry season, prices are not at the peak of high summer, so it’s the sweet spot between good weather and good prices, making May the best time to visit Seychelles on honeymoon.

June is the best time to visit Seychelles for honeymoon as there is minimal rainfall and the dry season is in full swing. It’s one of the least humid months of the year.

In July, the beaches in the southern areas of Praslin and southwest Mahe may have seaweed, because of the southeast trade winds.

In August, the beaches of Praslin and southwest Mahe’s southern areas may see some seaweed because of the southeast trade winds, which is a natural phenomenon.
Praslin offers numerous additional beaches to explore both on the island itself and along outlying islets and islands.

In fact, it’s one of our favourite months. It’s a time of transition between the southeast trade winds and more rainy north west trade winds, which arrive in December.
You may get the odd shower, but the seas are calm with ideal conditions for snorkelling and diving. Temperatures average 26.9°C / 80.4°F.

November is a transitional month in Seychelles.
Although it is the beginning of the rainy season, it won’t reach its peak until December and January.
