Marina Bay SandsSingapore

It’s all about the world’s largest infinity rooftop pool at one of Singapore’s signature hotels, Marina Bay Sands. The views of the glittering cityscape are unrivalled. Watch the sunset with a cocktail and see the city come alive at night with thousands of twinkling lights.

You can request a view of the famed Gardens by the Bay from your room. With restaurants by some of our international favourites like CUT by Wolfgang Puck and Bread Street Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay, dining in the hotel is a highlight. All of Singapore’s highlights, like Chinatown & Little India, Universal Studios and the Museum of Ice Cream, are nearby. It’s the perfect addition to your Asia honeymoon itinerary.

Nimb Hotel – Copenhagen Denmark

Copenhagen is a compact European capital city that is not short of a cool design hotel but Nimb Hotel is a fairytale. This unique property, inspired by a Moorish-style palace, was completed in 1909. It’s a must if you’re planning a trip to Copenhagen on a Northern Europe or Scandinvia honeymoon itinerary.

The hotel has a Moroccan hammam and the Nimb Bar has a divine fairy-tale cocktail menu with names like “The rose of Agrabah”. Travel in summer (April to September) for Nimb’s exclusive rooftop pool. The emerald water even has a built-in tide with views of the Tivoli Gardens. Hygge heaven.

We love, love, love Bangkok in Thailand. There is so much to see and do. Visit a floating market, take a street food tour and explore the palace and temples. But for the uninitiated, Bangkok can be an assault on the senses, so a luxury retreat is essential in this fun mega city.

The Silo HotelCape Town, South Africa

We’re obsessed with Cape Town in South Africa and The Silo Hotel is an architectural masterpiece in the heart of the V&A waterfront. The iconic building houses the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa, which holds the largest collection of African art on the continent.

The rooms are unique. It’s hard to pick a favourite as all have a balcony overlooking this beautiful city, but the Deluxe Superior Suite is worth a look. The rooftop pool is exclusively for guests only. Although it will be tough to tear yourselves away from this stunning hotel, there are endlessly fun things to do in Cape Town. Explore Table Mountain, see penguins on Boulder’s Beach, visit Robben Island.

1 Hotel Brooklyn BridgeNew York, USA

Is there a more iconic view than the one from 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge? Concrete jungle where dreams are made. The Manhattan city skyline in New York is one of our favourite views in the USA and in the world.

1 Hotels are super sustainable too. Think energy efficient systems and rainwater reclamation. It’s tough to pick a favourite room category, a view of the Brooklyn Bridge or the incredible skyline view? We love the Liberty Studio Suite with views of the lady herself, the Statue of Liberty.

Grab bikes and cycle across the bridge to explore lower Manhattan’s thriving restaurant, bar and shopping scene. We love that some of our favourite neighbourhoods, the Lower East Side, Chinatown, Soho and Tribeca are only 20 minutes away (or hop in an iconic yellow cab if you don’t want to get there on two wheels!).

Caruso, A Belmond Hotel, Amalfi CoastRavello, Italy

An 11th-century palace set on the cliff side of the remarkable Amalfi coastline. We’re in love with Caruso. One of the best views and most luxurious hotels in Europe, Caruso, is pure romance. Original frescos, lemon trees, rose bushes and olive vines, antique furniture – the perfect honeymoon hotel.

Stay in a Junior Suite and book the Krug Table for a night of private dining. Set at the highest point of the stunning town of Ravello, the infinity pool is magic. The pool concierge can bring you an Amazon Kindle full of classic books, a cocktail or a spritz of Evian water. Luxurious indulgence.
