In Namibia, hire a vehicle and prepare for some of the most unique and beautiful landscapes on earth. From sand dunes and barren trees of Sossusvlei to big cat game viewing in Etosha National Park.

In Botswana, the UNESCO World Heritage site, the Okavango Delta where waterways allow for abundant wildlife, and you can marvel at the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion and rhino). Chobe River and National Park have the biggest concentration of elephant herds on the planet (approx 120,000). One of the world’s great waterfalls, the majestic Victoria Falls (or as the locals call them Mosi-oa-Tunya – the smoke that thunders) can bookend your trip to this magnificent part of the planet.


The best time to visit Botswana for honeymoon is from May to November which is the best time for game viewing. The rainy season from late November to early March can be unpredictable.

The best time visit to visit Namibia for honeymoon is during the winter from May to October although nights can get cooler. Summer is from September to April where temperatures heat up and rain comes from November and March.

The best time to visit Victoria Falls for honeymoon is when they are at their strongest, from May to August. The lowest levels of water usually happen from September to November.
