About

Kenya is one of the earth’s ultimate safari destinations and home to the best known nomadic people, the Masai who inhabit this ancient land, the Masai Mara (and Serengeti).

Most couples start in Nairobi, where you can experience modern Africa, but most are here for the wildlife. With diverse landscapes, savannahs and lakes and the Great Rift Valley, the 5000km crack in the earth’s crust, Kenya’s treasures will leave you in awe.

Marvel at the marvellous wildlife spectacle, the Great Migration of two million wildebeests each summer. Witness Lake Nakuru with its flamboyance of flamingos, and see elephants up close at Amboseli with snow-dusted Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest mountain in Tanzania in the distance.

Take an overland safari over a few days or a ‘fly-in’ for a few days at an ultra-luxury lodge.

If you can tear yourself away from the incredible spectacle of nature, the contrasting white sandy beaches along the Indian Ocean are perfect for some rest and relaxation. The coastal city of Mombasa is the gateway to beautiful beaches like Diani and Zanzibar in Tanzania is also accessible with direct flights from Nairobi.

A honeymoon in Kenya is an Out of Africa dream.

Weather

The best time to visit Kenya for honeymoon is from June to October during the dry season. The Great Migration of wildebeest is from August to October. We don’t recommend visiting from March to May due to the rainy season which makes wildlife harder to spot.
